StarTrek.com.sg organized a Trekkies Mid-Year Grand Function in this June School Holiday on 24 Jun 2006 (Saturday). Trekkie CptJames has kindly offered us his bangalow house at Seletar Hills Estate to host the function.
A number of Star Trek fans and friends attended our Mid-Year Grand Party, including Trekkies CptJames, Dr EMH, Superstar, Sharkie, Techmech, Sofyan, lanman, Max, Cavey, Unimatrix and Valdore, as well as newcomers Dorothy Lee, Liow Poh Meng, Brian, and Vera Handayani.

Video Screening
Science-fiction video screening has always been popular among our Star Trek fans.
Trekkie Uma has kindly lend us her original collection of FIREFLY and SERENITY DVD boxset.
The video screening began from 10.00am.

A new Starfleet Officer is born!
Trekkie Unimatrix has just obtained his brand new Star Trek: First Contact command uniform 2 days ago from our regular tailor shop. He has also successfully acquired all the necessary rank pips and combadges for his new uniform.

Steamboat Buffet Dinner
Our host Trekkie CptJames has prepared sumptuous steamboat buffet dinner for all participants at the evening.
Everyone were invited to proceed the roof top of the bangalow to enjoy the steamboat buffet dinner.
It was a breezy evening, especially after a shower rains in the afternoon.

Star Trek Party Game #1 : Test Your Treknowledge
The Star Trek Party Games began at 8.30pm, with the first game to test the Treknowledge of our fellow Trekkies, in terms of both Star Trek series, as well as our local Trekkies community.
All trekkies were divided in a team of 3 players. Each team was given a chance to answer a Star Trek question, and if the team cannot answer, the chance is open to the other teams. The team which scored the most answers correct would be the winner.
After a total of 30 rounds of questions, team "Guardian" finally outwit other teams and earned the highest scores!
Congratulations to team "Guardian" which comprised of Trekkies CptJames, Techmech, Superstar and Max! ... They each won a Star Trek magnetic, kindly donated by Trekkie Dr EMH.

Star Trek Party Game #2 : Treasure Hunt Puzzle
The second Star Trek game was a Treasure Hunt.
Each team selected a color (Red, Green or Blue), and its mission was to retrieve 6 puzzle pieces of their color of choice from a carton filled with styrofoam. In addition, after assemble the puzzle pieces, the team has to answer the name of the Star Trek character appeared in the puzzle.
Team "Bridge" completed the game with a record of 31 seconds! The players of Team "Bridge" were Brian, Valdore and Sharkie. Each of them won a Star Trek keychain, well done! The prizes were kindly donated by Trekkies Daleth and Dr EMH.

Star Trek Party Game #3 : Star Trek Bingo
Back by popular demand, Star Trek Bingo Games were back! ... All the names in this special Star Trek Bingo Games are nicknames of our fellow Trekkies in StarTrek.com.sg and StarTrek.com.my.
The first Star Trek Bingo Game was to score one column of 3 names, and the faster player to complete one column shall be the winner. Trekkie Sofyan
won the first Bingo game.The second Star Trek Bingo Game was to score one row of 5 names, and the faster player to complete one row shall be the winner. Once again, Trekkie Sofyan won the 2nd Bingo game.
He won himself a Star Trek Doornob Hanger, as well as a special StarTrek.com.sg keychain. The prizes were kindly donated by Trekkie Superstar.

The third Star Trek Bingo Game was specially cater for the most unlucky player who didn't score anything shall be the winner. Trekkie Brian won the 3rd Bingo game.
He won himself a "Star Trek Deep Space Nine - The Fallen" Computer Game! The prize was kindly donated by the Webmaster.
The last Star Trek Bingo Game was to score all 15 names, and the faster player to complete everything shall be the winner. Trekkie Techmech was the champion.
He won himself a Star Trek - Star Chart, a special 100-pages full-color maps of Star Trek universe. The prize was kindly donated by S'pore Trekkie Ms Goh Shin Ping.
 Being the most "shui" (unlucky) player, Trekkie Brian (right) won the 3rd Bingo game!

Presentation of Token of Appreciation
As a gesture of goodwill, the Webmaster of StarTrek.com.sg presented a Token of Appreciation to Trekkie CptJames.
This Token of Appreciation is a special collar-pin ... a miniature model of Shinzon's dagger appeared in Star Trek - Nemesis movie. The dagger is codename "Jackal", produced by United Cutlery.
