Trekkie Dori, our Star Trek Communiquez Forums Moderator, left Singapore to further her study in Australia in July 2006. On 23 November 2006, she returned home to Singapore for a summer holiday, upon completed her semester.
StarTrek.com.sg took the opportunity to organise a mini welcome-home Trekkies gathering for Dori on 25 November 2006 (Saturday), 1.00 pm, at the new house of Webmaster Dr EMH at Parc Oasis private condominium.
A Welcome-Home Gathering
Despite of the short notice, several Star Trek fans and friends supported the mini gathering, including Trekkies Dori, her friend Valerie, Fahmi, Vera, CptJames, Dr EMH, and Superstar.

The Trekkies enjoyed themselves in the companionship of the fellow fans, and catching up the good old days.
Our host Dr EMH showed everyone around the new condominium unit, located at high floor facing full lake view of the Chinese Garden.

Lending hands with the Decoration
Dr EMH hired some contractors to perform minor touch-up and repairs on the condo unit, as well as requested IKEA to deliver several furnitures to the house.
The IKEA delivery men installed the mirrors and wall pictures, while the Trekkies gave a helping hand to assemble some of the floor and table lamps, as well as some cushion pillows, purchased from IKEA.
