The Starfleet Legion of StarTrek.com.sg accepted the invitation, and deployed an Away Team of Starfleet Officers, comprising an assortment of aliens species, to take on the challenge.
Make-up and Preparation
We encouraged our Trekkies to take part in the Contest, hoping they could gain some experience in costuming in the public, and in the meantime, enjoying themselves. We applauded these Trekkies on taking up the roles, especially the first-time costumers such as Vera and Sofyan.
The Star Trek fans arrived around 11.00am - 12.00 noon, and started to put on their costumes, make-up, as well as other props and accessories. The 4 contestants are Klingon Fahmi, Vulcan Vera, Ferengi Dori and Cardassian Sofyan.

Movie Masquerade Contest
The Contest began at 1.00pm, with a total of 25 contestants.
Each contestant would go on stage to introduce themselves, and do three poses to showcase their character and costumes.

Contestants from Star Trek, Star Wars, Lords of the Ring, Pirates of the Caribbean, SWAT, SEJA, etc.
And the Winner is ...
After the individual on-stage interview and performance, the panel of 3 judges announced the result of top 10 shortlisted candidates.

We are pleased that 3 out of 4 Star Trek contestants were nominated as Top 10 candidates, namely the Cardassian, the Ferengi and the Vulcan! ... Congrats!
The judges then announced the Top 3 Winners of the Movie Masquerade Contest, "The 3rd Prize goes to ... Dori, the Ferengi!!!"

Dori won herself a Polaroid Camera as trophy, as well as $100 vouchers! Congratulations!!!
The second prize went to the funny Biker Scout, while the campaign was none other than the tight-suit Batman!
