4th of October has been officially declared as
Gene Roddenberry Day by El Paso, Texas, USA.
To commemorate the Creator of Star Trek, the late Gene Roddenberry, who passed away in the early 90s,
the Singapore Star Trek Fansite (StarTrek.sg) is calling for a BLOOD DONATION at the Singapore Blood Bank
on 4 October 2007, Saturday, 10.00am.
A number of Star Trek fans responded to the charity call, including Trekkies Robin Stienberg, Joanna, Duncan Sutherland, Dr EMH, lhs1701, Joran, Superstar, Nova07 and his daughter Amelia,
Trekkies Blood Donation
Every year, Singapore Trekkies will match to the BloodBank@HSA to donate blood during the Gene Roddenberry Day. This year is no exception. The heroes of the day are Trekkies Robin Stienberg, Joanna, Dr EMH and Nova07.

Trekkies Lunch @ SGH Delifrance
After the blood donation, the Trekkies proceed to the nearby Delifrance restaurant to enjoy a well deserved lunch.
